VARIETY: Blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot
REGION: Los Chacayes (Uco Valley)
VINTAGE: 2023. It was a highly challenging harvest for Mendoza due to climatic conditions (hail, frost, and water scarcity), which resulted in significantly reduced production. However, the grape quality was excellent, yielding wines with great character, concentration, and longevity.
WINEMAKING METHOD: Fermentation in 5,000-liter stainless steel tanks. Gentle pump-overs. Cold maceration for 3 days followed by 18 days of alcoholic fermentation. 100% malolactic fermentation. Use of indigenous yeasts.
AGING: 18 months in second-use French oak barrels, medium toast
BOTTLE AGING: 12 months at controlled temperature CHARACTERISTICS: Deep ruby color with violet edges. Aromas of black and red fruits (plum, cherry, cassis, blackberry). Well-integrated balsamic notes with hints of tobacco and leather. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with a well-balanced profile supported by marked acidity. Silky texture with enveloping, fine tannins. Long finish. A wine with excellent aging potential—minimum 15 years.
TEMPERATURE: Recommended serving temperature is between 16 and 18 °C to enhance its organoleptic characteristics.
